The 5th international conference of hot stamping took place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of June 2015

It was held in the American continent for the first time in response to the strong growth in use of such parts for the OEMs in America.

Technical conference was given by Jose Mari Martin on behalf of the Hottenknik (Batz S. Coop. And Fagor Arrasate S. Coop.),team. Mainly focusing on the latest research about the die-stamping (hot spotting, tailor tempering …), using hot forming processes for other metal alloys (aluminum, magnesium) and post-processing of the parts (Hard trimming). These developments have been led by Batz S. Coop in collaboration with Mondragon University (Arrasate), Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic (Manresa) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Manresa).
