Multi-blank cutting lines are designed to transform a parent coil into several flat packaged parts. Regardless of the sector in which they are destined to be used, the main features of the resultant product are:
Additionally, this type of line is characterised by its high flexibility, the design and construction of the machines must therefore guarantee reliability and correct ejection of the packages.
The main characteristics of these lines are the same as the cut-to-length lines, with the difference being that a circular shear is incorporated. Positioned before the catenary of the line, it cuts the strip into smaller bands. Once the cut has been made, the bands must be separated from each other in order to carry out the subsequent processes. After the band-cutting process, it should be possible to process the edges by cutting them (with shear blades) or rolling them in a coiling machine.

Technologies Cut-To-Length Lines
The most relevant machines that are integrated into a Multiformat Cutting Line are:
The levellers commonly used on these lines come in 3 heights, and can process materials with a maximum thickness of up to 4-5 mm. As with the cross-cutting lines, these levellers are equipped with functions such as automatic cassette changing (< 5 min), LSA (Leveller Setting Assistance), a roller cleaning system, levelling roller materials and finishes, and other features.
Depending on the speed of the line, the material to be processed and its thickness, the shears used in this type of line are:
Automatic loading, feeding and threading.
Edge trimming and further processing by edge trimmer and chopper.
Paper and/or film application systems for delicate materials (stainless steel and/or aluminium).
Automatic pallet loading.
Integrated control up to level 2 and 3.
Digital platform for machine diagnosis as well as preventive and predictive maintenance.
Integral monitoring and multimedia display.
Proccesing and cutting lines
